Complete industrial stackable potato chip / Pringles-style production line incorporating Pavan processing and forming equipment, Heat and Control frying equipment, and downstream canister handling and packaging equipment.

The equipment was manufactured between approximately 2017 and 2019 and has seen relatively light production use, normally operating only two to three times per week for approximately one shift.

The complete line is presently dismantled and packed in wooden crates/pallets. A detailed packing list identifying the contents of each wooden case is available.

Production Process

The line provides a complete production system beginning with raw material handling and preparation, followed by mixing, dough preparation, rolling/forming, cutting, frying, oil discharge, seasoning/flavoring and transfer to the downstream canister handling and packaging equipment.

The principal Pavan processing section includes the buffer tank, gravimetric tank, mixer, metal detector conveyor, roller unit, cutter unit, scrap grinder, liquid tank unit and downstream product conveying systems.

The fryer is manufactured by Heat and Control, followed by Pavan oil discharge and flavoring conveyors.

Canister Handling & Packaging Section

Following processing and seasoning, the line includes chip filling and can-handling equipment, checkweighing and cooling, followed by canister seaming, printing and carton handling.

The packaging end includes Pavan chip filling and can-handling equipment, Pavan/Idecon checkweigher, Pavan cooling tunnel conveyor, Zilli & Bellini seamer, Hitachi canister printer, OMTeach carton filling conveyor and empty-can handling unit, and Clear Tech Italy depalletizer.

Documentation & Current Condition

Mechanical drawings for the machinery are available, including drawings and interface information for the conveyors connecting the processing equipment to the filling/packaging section. Machine operating settings and available technical information can also be supplied.

The complete line is currently dismantled and packed in wooden crates, with a packing list identifying the machinery/components contained in each wooden case.

This is a complete high-capacity Pavan-based stackable potato chip production line, from ingredient preparation and forming through frying, seasoning, chip filling, canister handling, seaming, coding and carton handling, with a rated production capacity of approximately 450–500 kg/hour.
